NaNoWriMo Young Writers Program
Do you enjoy writing? Have ideas for a story? Want to become a better writer?
Come sign up on Wednesday, November 1st from 5 to 6 p.m. in the teen room at Uintah County Library and meet other young writers.
National Novel Writing Month is the novel writing challenge that happens every November. NaNoWriMo Young Writers Program is for writers K–12 that want to take part in the challenge. Writers set their own word goal and draft a story in 30 days. You can type it right on the website to help you keep track of your progress. Our NaNoWriMo activities and exercises this year will be geared toward tweens and teens, but everyone is welcome to attend.
All parents or guardians of young writers under 18 must review the NaNoWriMo Young Writers Program Terms & Conditions before the young writer can establish an account. Parents, please accompany your young writer to our sign up event.
Adults interested in learning about NaNoWriMo are also welcome to attend. We are interested in providing positive role models and support for our young writers.
All NaNoWriMo events sponsored by the Uintah County Library are free events open to any ability. Contact the library for more information about our activities at 435-789-0091
