Hey teens! It’s Summer Reading time again. Every Thursday through the month of June and July we will be having a read-in/activity. The activity will be from 2-4. So bring your pillows and a book and get comfy. We will read for an hour and then have an activity afterward. To get your prizes for reading you must read 60 minutes each week. If you come to the read-in every Thursday you will automatically get the prizes.

Very Simple this year to participate read a book, fill out a review/entry form, you can pick one up at the library. Turn the review/entry form in at the library.

Each review is one entry for prize drawing, you can read as may books as you like in the two months of the program.

Prizes will be awarded on July 25, at our Author Speak program.

Teens Ages 12-18 can learn the Lego Mindstorm Robotics this summer in our first every Lego Robotics Camp. Design, build and program robots to compete in robotics competitions. Explore different robots types like driving robots, tread-based robots and stationary robots to find the best robot suited for any task. Create different mind-blowing robots to solve problems in challenging real-world situations using the award-winning LEGO® MINDSTORM® NXT robotics

Emergency Preparedness Classes April 9 and May 7, June 28 and 29

Emergency Preparedness Classes are free to the public starting:

April 9, Tuesday 7:00-8:30pm Dr. Larry Wilcken will be teaching wound care, infection prevention and necessary items to have on hand. In addition questions and answer section so plan on taking notes.
May 7, Tuesday from 7:00-8:30 Chelsie Jones will be demonstrating meat canning and preservation along with food storage your family will eat.
June 28 and 29, Friday afternoon at 4:00pm and Saturday morning at 9:00am will be a 6 hour class taught by Jim Phillips.
